Coral comes from New Zealand and Werner was born there. Coral’s mother played and sung in an ukulele/banjo duo, 2 women, and her sister Jay Clarkson is popular as a singer/songwriter in New Zealand. Walter’s grandfather Robert Körnli composed tunes for the alphorn, one is for 14 alphorns (choral for Aarberg).
At Werner’s special school they could choose their instrument. He chose the double bass – and stayed with it!
Theo has played good quality guitars for a while, playing with « Theo’s Fried Chicken Store », « Rosemary’s Baby » and other Rockabilly bands. He joined us about a year ago and has that great « 50′s twang.
Walter played with « Black Chair Blues Band » and « Don’t Kill The Rabbit ». Coral likes to sing whilst cooking, and as since a teenager, sung and played guitar. Lately again, for her mother’s memory, the uke.
